Whether or not K12 is free and provides computers, etc, depends on where you live. I am jealous of those who have that choice! We've been using a different virtual school (Laurel Springs School) for our daughter this past year. It's not for everyone, but it's been a great fit for us!

Oh, I'm so jealous! I've been wanting to homeschool for a few years but DH says NO WAY. The main reason? He says he wants to come home to a sane wife :) You'll have to keep us posted on how it's going. Maybe I could try this summer and see how it goes. Our state doesn't fund charter schools but I have heard of some other programs to use. Thanks for sharing about your switch--it has inspired me not to give up on trying someday :)

Good for you! I homeschooled my 2 sons for 4 years using a similar program in California. It was a WONDERFUL experience for us. Best wishes to you and your kids on this great journey . . . enjoy it!

Welcome to the Jungle!! LOL! Seriously, good for you. My husband was homeschooled and now we homeschool our oldest. It's a wonderful journey.
